Artist Emanuel Gollob, in collaboration with Daria Bogdan and Mar Sala Romagosa, presents Disarming II, a work developed within an EMAP residency (2023) at our member WRO Art Center. The work will be presented as part of the exhibition 'Künstliche Kreativität' (Artifical Creativity) at EMAP Partner Aargauer Kunsthaus and is supported with an EMAP Partner Presentation Grant (PPG).

Disarming II is a performative exploration of the relationship between detached robot arms, artificial environments and human observers, as well as a search for potential future roles of robotics and AI in our society. The work playfully explores the ambiguity of disarming as a process of physical detachment and emotional attachment.
