The University of Limerick is home to interdisciplinary research and practice spanning media art, interaction design, digital culture and creative technologies. Through the Interaction Design Centre (IDC) and the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC), researchers, artists and designers explore relationships between technology, culture and society through artistic research, creative practice and critical inquiry. Their work brings together experimental approaches to digital media, interactive systems, sound, computation and contemporary artistic practice.
