Kyber teatro is a theatre and new technologies company based in Cagliari since 2014. It is leader in this digital creative field in Sardinia - Italy. The artistic director is the playwright and theater director Ilaria Nina Zedda and the technological director is Marco Quondamatteo.
KT is L’ Aquilone di Viviana company’ spin off, a company that has been working since 2002 on several transdisciplinary and intercultural theatrical projects made in Sardinia and in other European and extra European countries.
Main activities: production of theater and new technologies plays, performing media events, video mapping, workshop and conferences.
Since 2014, we organises “Le Meraviglie del Possibile”Festival: it is an International Festival of Theatre Art and New Technologies, that represents in Italy the first and only platform of international reference concerning theatre and technology oriented art. LMDP Festival is recognized and supported by the MIBACT /FUS Italian Culture Ministry, within the National Festivals. It is an innovative network that promotes the contamination between humanistic culture and scientific knowledge and it involves national and international audience, artists (directors, actors, musicians, performers, dancers, media artists), scientists and technologists. The Festival presents every year a rich schedule of activities and events: performances, installations, shows, theatre and new technologies plays, workshops, talks and conferences are characterised by a high interactivity and multidisciplinarity level. We actively promote the knowledge of this specific artistic-technological sector. The Festival every year has the cooperation of international istitutions of culture and it hosts artists, experts and professors from several countries of the world and it is made with the partnership of different sponsor too. In 2018 LMDP Festival receives the EFFE Label 2019-2020, a quality stamp for remarkable arts festivals in Europe attributed for their work in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness.
