Youth Centre for Cultural Activities Maribor (MKC Maribor) is active in the fields of art, culture, the youth sector, tourism, and public infrastructure management. Our programmes, events, and activities are primarily intended for young and adult aficionados of modern art and urban culture. We are the only public institution of the Municipality of Maribor in the youth field and we have the status of a youth centre.

We organize over 400 events per year (festivals, exhibitions, workshops, literary events, performances, theatrical performances, lectures, round tables, conversations, symposiums, youth exchanges, installations, urban and street campaigns, conferences, training, acts, book fair, multi-media events...) on either our premises or we are hosted on various locations and event grounds in Maribor and elsewhere, often in partnership with other organizers and players in the youth and arts fields.
