The main aim of PPIAC is to create a platform for cultural exchange while using art as a language between diverse cultures. Currently PPIAC is organizing residency programmes, exhibitions and educational activities in India and in Slovakia to share the ideas of togetherness, preservation of traditional and contemporary art and to spread education and social awareness through art.

PPIAC´s main programme in Slovakia is an art festival called "Kopanice bez hranice" which takes place every year in the village Vrbovce situated in White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. The art festival focuses on bringing contemporary art to the rural area and mediates the dialogue between citizens of various minorities, local inhabitants and new settlers, professional artists and local artisans in order to discuss socio-cultural topics via the artistic approach and interactive experience. The festival includes Site specific exhibitions, symposiums of artists of various disciplines, creative workshops for visitors, and performances in a field of music and drama.
