Ars Techne is a Yerevan-based platform dedicated to the intersections of art, science, and technology, with a strong emphasis on ecological responsibility, open knowledge sharing, and collaborative research. As an emerging initiative, we foster interdisciplinary exchange between artists, scientists, and technologists, supporting research-driven practices, exhibitions, workshops, and residencies that explore contemporary social, environmental, and technological questions.
Our current flagship program is Mattering Worlds, an international artist residency focused on ecological entanglements, media art, and situated artistic research across Yerevan and Gyumri. The residency supports experimental practices that respond to local ecosystems, infrastructures, and socio-environmental contexts through transdisciplinary collaboration and open methodologies.
Rooted in values of openness, critical inquiry, and ethical stewardship, Ars Techne aims to cultivate a space where creative and scientific experimentation can contribute to regenerative futures.
