Artist collective Where Dogs Run, in collaboration with Sergey Mashkov, has begun their EMAP residency at KONTEJNER – bureau of contemporary art praxis.

Formed in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and currently based in Slovenia, Where Dogs Run works at the intersection of art, science and technology. Their interdisciplinary practice investigates alternative computing, artificial intelligence, chemical communication between biological and cybernetic agents, olfactory pollution, biometric and behavioural control systems, and the concept of free will. Through complex hybrid systems and immersive situations, the artists aim to expose the often-invisible psychological and social mechanisms that shape everyday life.
