Two months, one host institution, real backing. EMAP invites artists, artist duos, collectives, and other collaborations working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art to apply for a production residency at one of 15 host institutions across Europe in 2027.
Every applicant works with a collaborating partner — already on board, or found along the way.

Included: €4,000 for the applying artist, €2,000 for the collaborating partner, a separate €4,000 production budget, free accommodation, and access to the host institution's studios and labs. Selected work can travel further through EMAP's network of 150+ partner institutions and joins EMAP's permanent media art archive.
