Meet Ivan Iovine, the resident artist at Kersnikova Institute.

Ivan Iovine is a designer and media artist whose practice spans robotics, artificial intelligence, and more-than-human inquiry.

Through speculative encounters between tangible and intangible worlds, he investigates the evolving frictions, connections, and negotiations among machines, humans, and nature.

During his residency at the Kersnikova Institute, Ivan will experiment with robotic agents and microbial cultures, developing sensor-based interactions shaped by the metabolic processes of fermentation and photosynthesis.
