We look forward to a year shaped by ecological transformation and wounded, post-extractive landscapes. Among the selected projects are works that engage with ecological recovery and non-human perspectives, critical approaches to AI and algorithmic systems, and speculative investigations of planetary infrastructures such as satellites, space debris, and data-driven forms of control. Other projects develop hybrid forms of intelligence across microbial, fungal, chemical, and machine-based systems, or explore immersive environments that position audiences within shifting technical and social conditions.
The European Media Art Platform (EMAP) is a European residency network supporting emerging artists working at the intersection of media art, technology, and interdisciplinary practice.
