On 6 October 2026, EMAP alumni Me AndOther Me (Anna Pompermaier & Cenk Güzelis) presented BE MY GUEST! On the Seductiveness of Sweetness and Playful Warfare at KONTEJNER in Zagreb.
Combining a live networked dinner performance with a special edition of the WebRTC BackRooms podcast, the event brought together artistic perspectives from Noura Tafeche and Total Refusal to explore the intersections of cuteness, militarisation, video game culture and digital platforms.
Through virtual environments, shared conversations and performative dining, the evening examined how entertainment, propaganda and play shape our perceptions of labour, power and political ideologies.
The original Be My Guest! project was developed during the duo's 2023 EMAP residency at iMAL in Brussels.
