Thomas Garnies @ WRO

MEET Thomas Garnier, EMAP 2026 artist-in-residence at WRO Art Center!

Thomas is a French visual artist and architect whose practice explores the lifespan of the built environment through digital automation. Combining robotics, 3D printing, and environmental engineering with pre-cinematic traditions, his installations create a dialogue between industrial remains and digital processes.

During his residency, he is developing Cenotaph v2.0 & Companion Cartographies, exploring speculative architecture, ghost cities, and unfinished or abandoned modernity.
