Their Eyes (2025), a work by Nicolas Gourault in collaboration with Lucas Azémar, concieved during their EMAP residency at Werkleitz (2023). The project is presented as part of the Oberhausen Short Film Festival within the thematic programme “based on true events?”.

The work reflects on processes of perception, mediation and visual control within contemporary image systems. Through a montage-based approach, it examines how looking is shaped by technological, institutional and algorithmic frameworks, questioning regimes of visibility.

Their Eyes is included in the festival programme of the Oberhausen Short Film Festival (30.04., 17:00, Lichtburg) in Germany.
