Anni Garza Lau
Although she had a specialization in Animation (UPV, Spain) she worked first as videogames designer, which has defined her later artwork. Use of technology, structures from videogames, video visual references and online communities, are tools that she constantly uses in her works in order to produce pieces that cause the audience a meaningful experience related to expansion of body possibilities as mean of inquiry in nonlinear narrative and affective or cognitive situations. In her most recent work, she explores the possibilities of collective intelligence and the identity on Internet. She has been recognized with support of FONCA and the Media Center of CENART, as well as competitions and international festivals and her work has been presented in Mexico, Canada, Germany and Italy.
