Taavi Suisalu, an Estonian media artist and the first resident of the EMAP/EMARE – European Media Art Platform, has stayed at WRO Art Center in April and May 2018. During his residency, he worked on a new interactive installation Subocean botlights, which will be presented during the next year’s jubilee edition of the WRO Biennale.
While waiting for the final effect of the work, on Thursday, Jul 12, 2018, we’d like invite you to WRO Art Center, Wroclaw, Poland, to a meeting with Taavi that will take place in an open studio formula. The artist will talk about his creative practices, selected works and assumptions of the latest project. Everything in a loose holiday atmosphere, with Études in Black, or a cosmic sound composition for inaccurate satellites in the background.
